Akwa Ibom State Chief Judge decorates chief detail.

 The Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, Home Justice Ekaete Fabian-Obot, last Tuesday, February 24, 2026, formally decorated the Commander of her Lordship’s security unit, Daniel Nawati, with his new rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

ASP Nawati, a native of Taraba State, was until his recent promotion an Inspector in the Nigeria Police Force. He enlisted in the Force on June 1, 2001, and has since demonstrated commendable service and commitment. He is married and blessed with four children.

Speaking shortly before performing the decoration, Justice Fabian-Obot commended ASP Nawati for his diligence, discipline, and dedication to duty. She noted that officers who consistently demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic are bound to attain greater heights in their careers. The Chief Judge expressed confidence in his ability to excel in his new rank and wished him continued success in his service to the nation.
